Alun is a seasoned founder and operator who has led venture-backed teams through zero-to-one, scale-up, and turnaround phases – raising €20M+, building category-defining products, and steering cross-functional teams in Europe and the U.S. His background spans deep tech, blockchain, gaming, and platform strategy, with a track record of aligning vision, product, and go-to-market to drive measurable outcomes.
Beyond the headline wins, Alun is a hands-on operator who rolls up his sleeves on the work that actually moves the needle – clarifying positioning, hardening product/market fit, fixing funnels, implementing OKRs and operating cadence, and building processes that tie strategy to cash flow to profit. He’s led fundraising and M&A processes, rebuilt exec teams, and shipped data-heavy, regulated-market products, so companies get both board-level judgment and day-to-day execution without the ramp.

Dean is a seasoned executive and transformation leader with over 30 years of global experience spanning telecoms, technology, software, financial services, shared services & BPO, management consulting and ecommerce. He has led strategic and operational initiatives across startups, scale-ups, and global enterprises globally. With proven results in startup acceleration, growth scaling, business pivots, customer experience reform, and organisational & operational reengineering, Dean creates meaningful and sustainable change.
Dean supports Virtual CXOs’ strategy and delivery whilst also operating as a Virtual CXO for global clients, typically in a CEO, COO, CCO and similar capacity. His work is grounded in clarity, pragmatism, and a commitment to transformation, assurance, and growth.
